Is the Lapp sofa as comfortable as a traditional fixed sofa?
The Lapp was designed to offer the comfort of a fixed sofa with the functionality of an everyday convertible. Its 65 cm deep seat, more generous than average, is filled with a non-deformable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30/37 kg/m3, a double density that combines soft feel and firm support. The 47 cm seat height and enveloping armrests enhance the model's cozy character. Back cushions are included as standard. The mechanism is CATAS certified, guaranteeing a reliable mechanism for intensive day and night use.
Is the Lapp sofa bed available as an armchair or in a set?
Yes, the Lapp is available as an armchair, ottoman, and in sets, allowing you to create a complete and coordinated living room. The sofa is available in three widths: 160 cm for 2.5 seats, 180 cm for 3 seats, and 200 cm for 3.5 seats. It also comes in a fixed, non-convertible version for those who do not wish to have a sleeping function. Depending on the model, the armrests and/or backrest can be removed, making it easier to pass through staircases or narrow access points. What kind of bed base is equipped in the Lapp sofa bed?
The Lapp comes with a provided slatted base, designed to ensure appropriate support for regular sleeping. The 13 cm thick mattress is included, and it can be replaced with a Grand Confort mattress from the La Maison Convertible range for a superior level of comfort. The CATAS certified mechanism ensures the durability of the conversion system, with smooth deployment in just a few seconds. To choose the configuration best suited to your body type, a store trial is recommended.
How long does it take to receive the Lapp sofa?
The Lapp is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks, a delay linked to manufacturing with personalized upholstery. Delivery is in two packages: the main one measures 172 x 100 x 45 cm in the 140 version, and the second 220 x 70 x 60 cm. The total weight of the sofa is 115 kg. Depending on the model, the armrests and/or backrest can be removed, which facilitates passage through narrow access points. Some configurations are available in stock for faster delivery.
