Is the Soho really as comfortable as a real bed for sleeping every night?
The Soho is designed for daily sleeping with a 13 cm mattress resting on the included bed base. Its mechanism is CATAS certified, the European benchmark for mechanism resistance testing. You can come and test the night comfort in one of La Maison Convertible showrooms.
Can the Soho sofa be disassembled to fit through a narrow staircase?
Yes, the Soho is listed as disassemblable, which is a real advantage for difficult access: depending on the model, it is possible to remove the armrests and/or the backrest, which facilitates passage. It is delivered in three packages for the 3-seater version: L165 x D93 x H44 cm, L165 x D60 x H49 cm and L106 x D58 x H25 cm. Once assembled, it weighs 119 kg. In how many sizes and finishes can the Soho be ordered?
The Soho is available in three sleeping widths: 120, 140 and 160 cm, corresponding respectively to the 2.5-seater (L165 cm), 3-seater (L185 cm) and 3.5-seater (L205 cm) versions. In terms of finishes, more than 500 fabrics and leathers are available, and the model also exists in a leather version, as a corner sofa, armchair and fixed version. Cushions and a headrest are available as an option. Customization can be done in-store or by phone with an advisor.
How does the opening system of the Soho sofa bed work?
The Soho uses a CATAS certified Rapido mechanism that allows the sleeping area to be deployed in a few seconds, without complex handling. The seat tilts forward to reveal the mattress, and deployment is ergonomic thanks to a mechanism designed for ease of use. In the open position, the sofa reaches a depth of 209 cm: make sure to plan for this clear space in front of the sofa.
